We’re heading to the park for picky bits, low-stakes games, and meaningful chats. No agenda, no panel — just a space to be present, eat something good, and enjoy each other’s company.

Turning Life's Lemons into Tech Opportunities
After our successful event in March, we've been hard at work crafting something special, and now the wait is almost over!
Join us for our upcoming event, where you can participate in a hands-on workshop designed to help you navigate the tech industry, no matter where you’re starting from.
This workshop will guide you through the different tech and non-tech roles within the industry, teaching you how to source and effectively showcase relevant work experience.

When Life Gives You Lemons… Squeeze The Day
Part 2 of the 3 series event… SQUEEZE THE DAY!
Squeezing the lemon of all its juice and putting it to use! An interactive workshop followed by some 1:1 mentoring on how to set up a LinkedIn profile and build an online brand. It is essential that girls understand the importance of developing a network and its long-term benefits.
Participants will have the chance to create their LinkedIn profiles during the event, making the When Life Gives You Lemons sessions hands-on.
This session will be coupled with a #IamRemarkable workshop - a google initiative set up to empower women to celebrate their achievements.

When Life Gives You Lemons… Don’t Be Bitter
Part 1 of 3 events … DON’T BE BITTER!
The inception of the lemon. The lemon on the tree. We cannot pick the lemon too early. First-generation immigrant girls may experience imposter syndrome, a feeling of not fitting in and facing confidence issues by default. This session aims to explore these emotions and offer effective strategies for overcoming them. This will be followed by a student-led panel discussing all things A-Levels, University, apprenticeships and securing your first job.
We might get handed whole lemons, yet there is a lot we can do with them!
