Dunja Relic is the founder of When Life Gives You Lemons (WLGYL), and is currently completing her legal training at Mercurae Law.

Her commitment to equity and inclusion spans over a decade of volunteer work supporting underrepresented communities, including roles with the UK Youth Parliament, the British Youth Council and the National Council of Women.

Dunja’s work has been recognised in Brummell Magazine’s One’s to Watch 2024, WeAreTheCity’s Themis20 (in partnership with Norton Rose Fulbright), and as a Rising Stars Editor’s Choice Winner 2025.

The phrase ‘When Life Gives You Lemons’ is symbolic of the immigrant experience, often, we are handed challenges, and we make lemonade regardless of the circumstances. I hope through WLGYL, we can continue turning challenges into opportunities, making ‘lemonade’ along the way.
